Silent Gravity, pale textured abstract painting with a horizontal line of dark incised marks

Original artwork · 2026

Silent Gravity

Incised lines of earth across a pale, chalky surface.

The painting refers to the power of natural processes and forms. A field of tension arises between order and organic movement, and the varied structures make the painting change subtly with the light.

It is made with acrylic and mixed media in a chalky tone, broken by an eruption of dark earth colours.
