Monique Beverloo holding Cracked Earth, a horizontal painting with a band of rust-brown cracked texture

Original artwork · 2026

Cracked Earth

A band of cracked, rust-brown earth on white.

The painting refers to the power of natural processes and forms. A field of tension arises between order and organic movement, and the varied structures make the painting change subtly with the light.

It is made with acrylic and mixed media in a chalky tone, broken by an eruption of dark earth colours.
